Lisbon by Rail is maintained by a small editorial team committed to keeping information about Lisbon’s public transport accurate and useful. Our readers are our most valuable source of corrections — if you have just travelled on a line and noticed something that contradicts what we wrote, we want to know about it.

We aim to respond within 48 hours on working days.
What to write about
Some examples of messages we love receiving:
- Corrections. A fare has changed, a station is closed, a route has been modified — anything where reality no longer matches what we have published. Please include the article URL and what should be changed.
- Topic suggestions. Questions you had during your trip that our guides did not answer well. These often become our best new articles.
- Reader stories. Practical tips, scams to watch for, or insider observations you would like to see incorporated into our guides. We credit contributors when we use their input.
- Press and partnership inquiries. Media requests, content collaborations, or proposals from tourism boards and operators.
What we do not do
To set expectations honestly: we do not provide one-on-one travel planning, custom itinerary services, or guaranteed real-time updates on service disruptions. For live alerts about strikes or closures, the official channels of Metropolitano de Lisboa, Carris and CP are your best source.
We also do not accept paid placements or sponsored content within our editorial guides. If you represent a brand and are looking to promote a product or service, please email us anyway — we will explain our affiliate model and direct you to the right kind of partnership if there is one.
